Agnes is an all-day café and boutique grocery. We are inspired by neighbors and friends and the good times to be had over good food and drink.
Our food is loosely Mediterranean, sourced from near and far, inspired by the classics and a little bit of adventure, but always better when shared with others.
Located at 2132 Bissonnet Street in the Boulevard Oaks neighborhood of Houston, TX, we are open Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 9:00PM, Saturday from 8:00AM-9:00PM, and Sunday 8:00AM-3:00PM.
ABOUT
Agnes was conceived by two life-long friends, Carolyn and Molly. The name was inspired by Carolyn’s mother and aunt, whose nickname for each other is “Agnes” after Agnes Gooch, the dowdy secretary in the movie Auntie Mame who has one glorious night out - with disastrous consequences.
To Carolyn and Molly, Agnes represents the closeness and humor between good friends. They also hope that Agnes will be the site of many a glorious night out – without the disastrous consequences.
